Rotary Screw
Rotary screw air compressors also work through a positive displacement process. They use two helical screws and compel the air together and compress it. The method of operation is a smooth process compared to the piston, sometimes less in comparison to vibration and vibration found in fewer compressors. They are durable and easy to maintain. They are also found in gas turbines, gas pipelines, oil refineries, petrochemical plants and chemical plants.
